Travel 1000 metres underground into the dripping old copper mine on a small train; learn the ropes on board the newly restored sailing ship, "Garlandstone"; take a carriage ride drawn by magnificent Shire horses or enjoy simple games from the Victorian era. There are also magnificent views across the river and Tamar Valley and wildlife can be seen from concealed bird hides overlooking rare habitats. Admission: adult GBP8.90; child GBP6.20.
