Skogskyrkogarden (the Forest Cemetery) is the final resting place of a number of illustrious persons, among them Greta Garbo. The burial ground and chapel are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites, and were designed by two of the most eminent architects of the Functionalist movement, Gunnar Asplund and Sigurd Lewerentz. The beauty and peace of this place is really unbelievable, and you can spend hours simply walking around, lost in thought - truly balm for the soul.
