Keiyaki-doriAkasaka, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka, JapanIf you follow Kokutai-dori from Tenjin, once you pass through the Kego area, you reach this one- or two-kilometer stretch lined and shaded by enormous Zelkova trees that give the road its name. There is not a more beautiful street in all of Fukuoka, and if you have the time, then you should definitely consider walking from, or as far as, Ohori Park, especially in the evening. The stretch is lined with posh restaurants, shops, and clothing stores, and also a few very nice apartment buildings for some rather lucky tenants. Maybe even consider taking a date for some window-shopping or a pleasant stroll.
