Lac Leman (Lake Geneva)
Lakeside, Ouchy, SwitzerlandThere is plenty of activity at the waterfront area to keep one amused. An ideal location for rollerblading, cycling and scooter riding on the smooth paths. Wide open grassy areas allow for football, frisbee and other such games. The only beach area available in Lausanne is found just west of the Ouchy Marina. For a small fee, you can go to Bellerive, which has massive swimming pools, beaches, restaurants, and other fun fare. For water enthusiasts there is water-skiing, pedal boats, sailing and this is the departure point for many boat tours. A great way to spend a sunny day!
