Kangaroo Island is simply brimming with fascinating marsupials, land and sea birds. Renowned and truly wonderful cheeses top the list of great local produce on the island. With excellent diving, walking and horse riding, this visitor centre has a lot to tell you about. Although the centre will happily refer you to accommodation, local tour-operators and food-producers, you will have to make bookings yourself. The centre also acts as an agent for the National Parks and Wildlife Service and sells national parks passes. Ask about ranger-guided walks.
