This public museum has a rich collection of artifacts giving proof to Nagasaki's history of exchange with Holland and China. There are over 20,000 items on display, including locally produced goods like pottery. Paintings by local artists can be found within the museum as well. If you are visiting the Atomic Bomb Museum (and most likely you will be), then you may as well stroll through here. The two are attached, and the admission for such a good dose of local history, art, and stimulation is only JPY100.
