No seaside resort is complete without its funfair and Magic Mountain is the local version. The kids in and around Adelaide love it, and some not so young kids can have a ball too. It is easy to find, located just off Adelaide's favourite beach. Fun includes waterslides, sideshows, bumper boats, dodgem cars, a chairlift and a delightful antique carousel from the early days of Glenelg. Admission: Free; pay for rides with 50 cent tokens. Mini-golf is AUD5.

- It had great attractions

“It was quite good but you are aware that it was demolished in 2004 to make way for "The Beach House" (a new amusement park).”
