Summertime concerts in front of M&T Bank's Main Street tower in the Theater District have become as much a tradition in Buffalo as chicken wings. For years, downtown workers and visitors have enjoyed their lunch while listening to a free show. The variety of acts runs the gamut, from jazz and rock, to soul, dance, gospel and community theater. Seating is limited to the decorative wall surrounding the Plaza, so get there early. The concerts run from May through August on weekdays.
