A demanding trip lasting 4 hours with an ascent of 1300m. From Voltri you ascend to Crevari, on to the Passo del Tardia and then the Passo della Gava (pictured) and there is a rest point (750m). There are only a couple of hours left to reach the summit of Monte Reixa, the peak of the Beigua group that is particularly imposing at a height of 1183m. Strong winds and the fog are the main problems to take into account. It starts at the Stairway for Crevari, from Via Aurelia and is marked by the red cross of St Andrew.
