Frantisek Bilek was interested in the strongly symbolic element of Czech art. He poured out his spiritual yearnings and reflections in a series of wood and stone sculptures which are now displayed in the house that he built for himself.

Bilek lived from 1872 to 1941, but eschewed modernism for a style favoring elongated, gnarled figures.

Admission: Adults - 80 Kc; Concessions - 40 Kc.
