Do not let the kangaroos or the carpets of wildflowers distract you from your swing. Araluen Country Club's 18 holes weave through native red gum forest, around the creeks and valleys of Roleystone. Challenges like the par three 16th, with the tee 30 metres above the green, the blind tee shot at the 9th, water features and a hilly layout reward serious golfers. Social golfers will enjoy riding through the valley and views from the Verandahs Restaurant. September and October are the months to enjoy the wildflowers. Bookings advisable.
