Avenida Amazonas
Norte de la ciudad, Quito, EcuadorSituated in the north-central part of the city, this route starts in the Avenida Patria and runs up to the Mariscal Sucre airport. The main banking, commercial and tourist centers of the city are to be found along its length, such as the Colon Hilton Hotel, and the Espiral, El Jardin, CCI and Caracol shopping centers, and the most important banks and travel agencies. Lining its sidewalks, from Patria Street and up to Colon, are both local and foreign craftsmen and artists, offering their products at fair prices. This is also an important through route for both public and private transport.
