A wide variety of artistic and cultural events take place in this center, organised by the Cultural Bureau of Santander's City Council. It is centrally located, near Tetuan Tunnel, Puerto Chico (Small Port) and the regional government's offices.The programme includes conferences and round table discussions, workshops, and theatrical and musical events. Special events for children often take place on Saturday mornings. The work of national and international artists is also exhibited, with special emphasis on Cantabrian artists, both figurative and abstract.Admission (to the art exhibitions): free.
