Lake Pleasant Regional Park

One of Arizona's best water recreation sites just a few miles northwest of Phoenix. Desert terrain is rocky and shade is limited, so bring sturdy shoes and plenty of sunscreen. Popular activities include swimming, jet skiing, boating and fishing. Campsites start at $8 on a first-come basis. Day use fee runs $5 per vehicle, with lower fees for motorcyclists and pedestrians. Bring cash or a check. No credit cards are accepted. Boat lovers be sure to check out the nearby Pleasant Harbor Marina, open 7:30am-5pm daily, which has offers full amenities for boaters.
