If you'd like a day trip to Nevis, hop on the M.V. Carib Queen ferry. The ferry departs the dock everyday except Sunday. One of the most enjoyable spots on the vessel is the boat's front deck (the bow) where you'll enjoy the views of the southeast peninsula, the strait between St. Kitts and Nevis, and the coastline of Nevis as you enter Charlestown. The crossing takes about 45 minutes and costs USD 8 for the round trip. The ferry has a daily schedule that changes from time to time according to the season.
