Bus line number 1 runs as public transport, but on its route it passes some of the most important places in Copenhagen. It goes between Rodovre Station, in a suburb town southwest of Copenhagen, and Ryparken on Osterbro, the part of Copenhagen north of Soerne (the Lakes). In between, it passes Hovedbanegarden (the Central Station), Christiansborg (where the Parliament sits), Kongens Nytorv (the King's New Square), and Osterport Station, an important traffic junction. In other words, it's sightseeing tour. Tickets for the ride can be bought on the bus, but punch tickets can only be bought at DSB stations or at some supermarkets and petrol stations.
