Four female statues standing alongside the pedestal of the column form the base of the monument which represents Justice, History, Liberty and the Republic of Guatemala. The statue of General Miguel Garcia Granados stands on top of the column, dressed as a civilian with a book in his left hand and the other hand on his chest. This is a public monument, part of the National Heritage.
