Justo Rufino Barrios
19 calle Avenida Las Américas,, Zonas 13 y 14, Guatemala City, GuatemalaErected by Francisco Durini in 1897, this monument is six meters high and shows the equestrian statue of Justo Rufino Barrios. The statue was originally located opposite the Palacio de la Reforma and it was destroyed by the 1918 earthquake. The statue was moved to Plaza Barrios opposite the railway station and finally, in 1973, to Avenida de las Americas.
