Li Group's roots go back to the founding of The Li Gallery in 1967. The group was formally inaugurated in 1983, adding on Marcos Li, Graficas Li and Corpo Li. El Centro de Arte Li is the most recent addition to this group, and was inaugurated in November 1995 with an exhibition by Venezuelan Oswaldo Vigas. Its directors have dedicated these spacious and luxurious rooms not only to first class exhibitions, but also to discussions and seminars of art critique, while forging links between plastic arts and other areas such as poetry, music, literature, current events and new creative expressions. Admission is free.
