Circuito de Playas Costa Verde

Circuito de Playas "Costa Verde"

Desde Magdalena hasta Chorrillos, Lima, Peru

At present, there must be thousands of surfing enthusiasts in Peru. Those who can't use the beaches in the north (the surfer's paradise), tend to use the so-called Costa Verde circuit which has waves all year round and is situated at the foot of the cliff, below the city of Lima, stretching from the Magdalena area to the Chorrillos district. The most important of its beaches can be found in the Miraflores district such as, La Pampilla, Makaha, Waikiki, Redondo and, of course, La Herradura. This is a very crowded beach, where you can find more than one hundred surfers on a good day. It is worth noting that very few of the beaches are actually recommended for swimming. If you walk around the beach circuit you're likely to find a few restaurants, for example "La Rosa Nautica" and "Costa Verde", each serving spectacular food - don't miss out!
