Puente de la Penitenciaria
7 avenida límite entre zonas 1 y 4, Guatemala City, GuatemalaThis bridge was built in 1894, during General Jose Maria Reyna Barrios' term of office, for the Southern railway. Its name comes from its location, next to the prison, or penitenciaria. Today, the Centro Civico is located in this area. It is also known as Puente de Piedra and Puente de los Suspiros.
