Travel in and out of Montserrat is by helicopter or ferry. There are two or three helicopter flights each way daily except Wednesdays. Advance booking with Montserrat Aviation Services Ltd (MAS) is essential. Check-in at Carib Aviation, V.C. Bird Airport (Antigua), one hour before departure. Strict baggage limit 40 lbs, NO OVERWEIGHT ALLOWED. Ticket price XCD 89 (US $33) each way. Departure tax is payable. The journey takes twenty minutes. For exact times call MAS for schedule of flights. The helicopter has very limited space, so unless you have a confirmed seat, plan to use the ferry service instead, to avoid disappointment.
