Travel in and out of Montserrat is by ferry or helicopter. The Opale Express ferry is a modern, air-conditioned catamaran holding up to 200 passengers. The local agent is Montserrat Aviation Services Ltd (MAS). The agent in Antigua is Carib World Travel (+1 268 480 2990). Buy tickets when checking in at Heritage Quay, Antigua. Ticket price EC $75 (US $28) each way, payment by cash only. Journey takes just over an hour, but the customs check may cause some delay. Ferry departs Heritage Quay 6:30a and 4p every day except Sunday. Check in one hour before departure. Departure tax is payable.
