During the Fourth of July weekend every year, this small town puts on it's Western finery. Prescott is home to the very first, 'Cowboy Tournament,' which was held in Prescott on July 4th, 1888. Since 1979 Prescott Frontier Days, Inc. has helped support various charities with the proceeds. Exciting events have included Saddle Bronc Riding, Bull Riding and Wild Horse Racing.
