Casa de los Espejos

Avenida Paseo de la Reforma s/n, Primera Sección del Bosque de Chapultepec, Mexico City, Mexico
Tel: s/t

On the access ramp leading into the beautiful Chapultepec Castle, one finds a rather peculiar red-brick construction, housing a strange collection of mirrors. These come in all shapes and sizes, and make a person look as if he or she had gained weight, or were much smaller. There are a total of sixteen such mirrors, which with their concave and convex forms distort reflections and create all sorts of amusing optical effects. Ideal for children and grown-ups who want to have an entertaining day out.
