At 328 metres, the Sky Tower is the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere and the views from the top are spectacular. A few Plexiglas blocks allow the courageous to stand and look directly down to the street. There are snack bars and a revolving restaurant up the tower. Plans are underway to allow thrill seekers to climb beyond the highest viewing platform and to take a daredevil bungy type ride down its sides.

  • Good attraction.
  • Cleanliness of the restaurant.

“If you want another example of how to waste money - go to the Sky Tower. It must have cost an absolute mint and whether they get a return on their investment I wouldn't be too sure. The moving restaurant has spectacular views but the food is very mediocre and the staff can be sloppy and lacking in professionalism - they still want a tip though. When it first opened it was very good but since that time the staff have changed and the food has deteriorated. They also need to keep an eye on cleanliness which could be compromised if they don't pay attention to it. The Cinema is good particularly the Gold Service - well worth the difference in price.”
