Plaza de la ConchitaHiguera y Vallarta, Coyoacán, Mexico City, MexicoTel: s/t Formerly known as the Plaza de la Concepcion, this attractive little plaza is well worth a visit. At one corner you can see the Casa de la Malinche (or Casa Colorada), which was built by the conquistador Hernan Cortes for his Aztec interpreter cum lover: however, the building is not open to the general public. On the eastern side of the plaza is the Capilla de la Conchita (the Chapel of Conchita), a pretty little Baroque church that dates back to the 18th century.

“Beautiful little chapel, very picturesque with the surrounding trees. My boyfriend took me here when we went to visit his family. Now I dream of us being married here someday.” Popular Attractions in Mexico CityView all attractions in Mexico City
