Cathedral of the Good ShepherdA Queen Street, Singapore City, SingaporeTel: +65 337 6870; 337 2036; 337 9879 The oldest Catholic church in Singapore, the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd stands majestically along Queen Street. Opened by French priest Jean Marie Beurel, the church was completed in 1846. Then in 1897, the Renaissance-styled building was consecrated as a cathedral by the Bishop of Malacca. Today, the cathedral also serves as the home of the present Archbishop. Admission is free.
