Heart of Midlothian (Hearts) were formed in 1874 and initially played home fixtures at The Meadows before settling at Tynecastle Stadium 12 years later. At present the ground capacity is circa 18,000, relatively small for a capital's team, especially in comparison with Rangers and Celtic. If you really want to fit in, wear the team colours (maroon and white). Matches are held from July to May; check the Web site for a detailed fixture list and game times. Walk-up tickets cost between GBP16-GBP20; GBP10 concession.
