St Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art2 Castle Street, Glasgow, United KingdomTel: +44 141 553 2557 Castle Street contains a wealth of medieval attractions and the multi-faith St Mungo Museum is one of them. The museum chronicles the world's major religions and when it was inaugurated it generated a good deal of controversy, no surprise in a city noted for its sectarian tendencies. It has fascinating sculptures, pictures and displays on religious practices and festivals such as the Mexican Day of the Dead, as well as interactive exhibits on the effects of religion on Glasgow life. Nevertheless the most notable exhibit is Dali's awesome Christ of St John of the Cross.
