This $46 million project is a world class institution located at Gateshead Quays right opposite Newcastle's thriving Quayside area which will be joined by the Gateshead Millennium footbridge. The Baltic will occupy a former 1950s flour mill overlooking the Tyne. The Baltic will house five galleries, studios, workshops, and will feature a rooftop restaurant with breathtaking views of Tyneside. Admission is free.
