Barley Hall is a recreated 15th century town house and uniquely different in the sense that the visitor is invited not just to look but also to touch the objects on view, to actually sit on the chairs and look at the contents of the medieval chests. There is an audio tape available for those who would prefer to find their own way around. Or, if you would enjoy a guided tour of the Hall then there are guides dressed in 15th century clothing who are more than willing to enlighten you on life as it was in that age. Admission: adults #3.50; children and concessions #2.50; Under 10 yrs and disabled are free.
