Booterstown Bird SanctuaryBooterstown, Dublin, IrelandTel: +353 1 605 7700 Booterstown Marsh is a bird sanctuary in the joint care of An Taisce (the National Trust for Ireland) and the Irish Wildbird Conservancy. The sanctuary - in a four-hectare water marsh - may be viewed from the adjacent road running parallel to the city's DART train service, where detailed information boards have been erected. Opposite the marsh is the former home of the famous Irish tenor, John McCormack, which features a distinctive conical turret. The sanctuary is also referred to in a play of the same name, by the acclaimed Irish dramatist Frank McGuinness.
