The archive exhibits a historic collection of works incorporating all aspects of the influential Bauhaus school of design (1919-1933). A reading library offers access to a comprehensive collection of documents. Special exhibitions of contemporary design and architecture are also regular features. If you need a rest, you can take a break in the cafe or browse the museum shop which sells replicas of original Bauhaus designs (e.g. salt-shakers or lamps).
