Artist John Lawrence displays and sells his beautiful oil paintings at The Studio. Charmingly displayed in a restored terraced house, located down a small lane, it's well worth the extra effort to seek out this interesting artist's evocative work. Inspired by local surroundings and beyond, these moody, moving landscapes would grace any situation. Browsers are made quite welcome, but it is wise to ring ahead. Hours can be sporadic, though viewing by appointment is easily arranged. The Studio also has the added advantage of being directly across from the Bean and Leaf Cafe, which is just the spot for a tasty snack.
