Initially built as a millennium theme park, the Dome has struggled to find a buyer since the attraction closed down. However, whether it ends up as offices or another kind of public attraction, it still is a striking addition to the London landscape, and its unusual, pincushion-like structure is surprisingly beautiful and is best viewed by river tour.
