This Bristol institution is so many things to so many people. It is basically a trendy media centre housing three cinemas; an online gallery showing contemporary art displayed on plasma screens within the building (with an emphasis on photographic and digital), as well as various events around film and digital media, and best of all, Bristol's original cafe-bar including a large non-smoking area. Relaxed during the day and early evening (when you can get excellent sandwiches, snacks and main meals), later at night it transforms into a lively and buzzing bar, getting extremely busy on weekends. - I liked the view out of the window.
- Everything else.
“I am an old fan of the Watershed; however, I will never set foot in there again. I went there for lunch over the weekend and had the worst kind of service possible. Not only was I over charged but when I questioned it - I was served the most foul dish possible, and really how hard is it to slap together sweet Thai Chili Chicken and curly fries? Also when on finishing my abortion on a plate. It was just grim there. The staff has all changed, and the manager was a useful as a chocolate fire guard.”
