The letters MM' have long since had a special significance for Leipzig's reputation and economy. They stand for MusterMessen, German for Trade Fairs, which have become a landmark for this Saxon metropolis. Particularly in the former East Germany, this biannual exhibition was a big attraction, and nowadays there is a new exhibition arena which is of architectural interest and a new concept. There are now subject-specific fairs several times a year, such as the car and vehicle fairs, or the book fair. Admittance: from EUR 2.50
