Leipzig is known for its Book Fair, one of the biggest in the world and thus, it is no coincidence that it is home to the National Museum of Books and Writing. The exhibition features a stunning selection of books, including many unique and priceless pieces, as well as a section dealing with the history of printing and of paper manufacturing. Guided tours in English can be arranged by appointment. Admission is free.
