Agra Park is great place for taking a breather in Leipzig and is conveniently situated in Markleeberg on the edge of the city consisting of 140 hectares of green space for relaxing or having a picnic. There are many halls and pavillions on the land which have been used for agricultural exhibitions since the 50s. Although Leipzig is one of the biggest cities in eastern Germany, this Messestadt, a city for trade fairs, distinguishes itself by its large amount of green space and Agra Park is largely responsible for this.
