Heinrich-Heine-Allee, Altstadt, Dusseldorf, GermanyThe Neo-Classical Carsch Haus originally stood some 20m away from its present location but had to be moved when the underground was built. The historical art nouveau facade was removed bit by bit and then put back onto the new structure. The building houses an upmarket clothes store and several delicatessens. Concerts often take place in the restored iron pavilion which faces the building.
