Built in what used to originally be a train station, the building itself is unique and interesting. The museum has an impressive art collection, which dates back to the early 19th century. It is however primarily known for its magnificent impressionist and neo-impressionist collection. The museum also strives to promote art by organizing festivals, special shows, exhibitions, conferences and concerts on a regular basis.

- Great collection of Impressionist painting and other arts.
- Rude security are so Parisian.
“I learned about this museum when I was studying Impressionist paintings. Many of them were labeled as the collection of this museum. The collection contains much more than just the Impressionist paintings. The building itself is also a wonderful renovation, a proper mix of old and new. The three giant clocks on/in the building are fantastic. Get there early before opening to avoid the long line.”
