Toys are not just children's playthings—they can also cater to human beings' basic needs. The Toy Museum in the Carolino Augusteum caters to these needs with a broad collection of dolls, teddies, puppets, wooden and pewter toys and a fine display of arts and crafts. This part of the museum is situated in St. Blaise Civic Hospital, built between 1556-62 in the Monchsberg. A visit here is great for both children and adults.
