There are some recommended ways to explore the city of Salzburg. A good idea is to rent a bike. Another possibility is, of course, to walk, which means a guided or unguided tour. But, the most romantic possibility is to take a horse-drawn cab. Although not limited just to Salzburg, a cab tour can be quite interesting and really amusing because it seems to be the cabbies' speciality not only to know the history and stories, but also to be original.
