The church was donated by one of Hall's citizens, Hans Kripp, and built between 1400 and 1406. Visitors have the pleasure of viewing two treasures in particlar: left of the chancel wall is the gravestone emblem of the founder, Hans Kripp, and at the eastern end of the choir enclosure is a painting depicting Christ on judgement day. Another emblem of a gravestone on the right hand wall of the building and an oil painting from 1600 depicting the legendary establishment of the church are also worth seeing.
