OttoburgHerzog-Friedrich-Straße 1, Innsbruck, AustriaThe Ottoburg, a tower originally used for housing people, lies in the centre of the historic part of Innsbruck. It was constructed by Maximilian I in 1494/95 and is used as a winehouse today, profiting from the rooms as beautiful settings. The tower-like, four storey building is the oldest building in the 'Herzog-Friedrich-Strasse'. On the side facing the Inn river is the so-called Plattner memorial, dedicated to the brave freedom-fighters of 1809. Right next to the building are the ruins of the old city walls.
