The alps are a unique natural, business and living area, the favourite health resort in Europe and at the same time the hoe of the Alpinschule Innsbruck, the Innsbruck Alpine School. They have been leaders in the organisation of worldwide hiking tours for over 35 years. Their headquarter is situated above Innsbruck near a clearing in the forest. The organisation offers more than 90 different hiking programmes all over the Alps, on islands and all over the world. The highest possible safety standards are a top priority of the ASI. Every guide is extremely well trained and knows the area and landscape by heart. Every trip has been conceived as an entity and is adapted to the relevant target group.
