The most pleasant way to cross the lake on a hot summer day, and a favourite for Genevans and tourists alike, is by the small ferry boats, the 'Mouettes'. There are 2 routes: from the Paquis (in front of the Noga Hilton Hotel) to Molard (centre of town) and back or from the Paquis to the Quai Gustave Ador (by the Jet d'Eau) and back.
