The writer/illustrator grew up in this neighborhood, and Grant Park is where her stories take place. Statues of Henry Higgins with his mutt, Ribsy, and Ramona in her raingear stand around a central fountain. Lee Hunt, a local artist, designed the garden's child-friendly bronze sculptures. Take a book and have a truly interactive read with the kids in one of the city's beautiful parks.
