This publicly owned facility is one of Portland's oldest golf courses. With a recently renovated restaurant and pro shop, this course is just 15 minutes from downtown. Beware of the killer 10th hole, which is always a surprise with its steep downhill tee off and a hard turn to the right across a wide lake to a rising green on the other side. You can play 18 holes for less than USD25 on a weekday. There are many opportunities for singles and doubles to walk on.
